Changes!

I FINALLY got a new job and I'm moving to League City next weekend.

It'll be a big change, but I'm looking forward to a new adventure.

It's been awhile...

So, I've been slacking.

I'm on vacaction this week. I really wouldn't call it a vacation. I've been sitting at home being lazy all week. Speaking of...I think I'll take a nap.

We just had our fantasy football draft for a random league I'm in.

The Aggies first game is next Saturday.

Summer is almost over (hopefully)...which means bloody mary's and chili on the stove while watching College GameDay.

Postsecret

Awhile back, I came across a website/blog called Postsecret.

It's quite simple - people write their secrets on a postcard and mail them to Frank, who then posts 20 each Sunday on a blog.

Each Sunday morning, one of the first things I do is check the Postsecret site. Reading the secrets that people send in make me realize that people out there definitely have it worse than i ever will.

BBQ!!

It's summer and that means BBQ time!

I've always been a griller/BBQer girl, but this gives me the oppurtunity to do even more.


Today, I have a Beer Butt Chicken on the grill. It's my first attempt.

I've almost mastered pork ribs. My sister doesn't complain anymore, so they must be pretty tasty.

I haven't made a steak in awhile, but those always turn out yummy.

I made a brisket a month or so ago. Better than any you'd have at a resturant.

My point - girls can GRILL!

She's a fun dog. She likes to cuddle and sleep with her mom. She's VERY smart - she learned to shake in one day and also gives high fives. Beware the tongue - she's a licker!
